In the city of Samarra,There is  onepublic library . It is located near the court building at the entrance to the city of Samarra. Although the library did not   meet need of  the intellectuals and educated people of the city and had  a few sources, but it was the only outlet for the people of Samarra. After the U.S. invasion of Iraq has become in the  military region which was prohabitated for  civilians . thus, intellectuals lost the window of the cultured literary value which was  the only outlet inspite of it`s  limited effect. There are various libraries of the Faculty of Education and the College of Imam Adam which have valuable collections of books, but not available to the public, but to employees of educational institutions only .there are also  several libraries for clergemen  and the permanint figares  of the city have in some cases, students borrowed books of science and the need remains great for general office keep pace with scientific development, which happened in the city through several colleges and the University of incorporation under
